We at MAREP are involved in many community based activities that are focused on empowering young unemployed or self employed men, women and single mothers.

Human Social Capacity Building Services

Vocational Skills Training (V.S.T. Courses) :The Vocational and Skills Training (VST) programme is designed to provide training for six hundred (600) young male and female from MAREP’s target communities.
Capacity Building Training with Rural Organizations (Community Based Organisations, Community Based Producer Groups, Community Based Associations/Cooperatives, Umbrella/Apex Organisations)
Adult literacy Program in collaboration with the Ministry of Education

Market Access Enterprise Development Services

Provides assistance with the completion of Marketing and Business Plans to Sole proprietors/entrepreneurs
Provides Rural investment Funds for eligible Rural Organisations (Community Based Organisations, Community Based Producer Groups, Community Based Associations/Cooperatives, Umbrella/Apex Organisations) who meet the selection criteria: This fund is specificaly focused on non-reimbursable financing for facilitating access to markets, value adding and business development and enterprise investments.
Provides Line Of Credit Assistance for eligible Sole proprietors/entrepreneurs who meet the selection criteria.
Provides Grant funding to informal groups under the Small Scale Revenue Generating Window (SSRGW).

NB: The Project Steering Committee approves all Rural Investment Fund projects and Proposals for Small Scale Projects are approved by an internal Committee.
