The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. They have jointly funded the MAREP project with CDB since the start of the programme in March 2011. Their contribution is $3.0 Million US dollars in the form of a loan. 

The Caribbean Development Bank is a regional financial institution. It is a co funder of MAREP. It has contributed $2.0 MIllion US Dollars towards the programme as a loan.

The Government of Grenada has agreed to provide counterpart funding to MAREP to the total of US $2.2 million. The Programme Beneficiaries have also been encouraged to give in-kind contributions of US $0.3 million.
